Amani Sauvignon Blanc 2009
The Amani Sauvignon Blanc 2009 expresses a flavour profile of winter green melon, white peach and typical dustiness that is associated with cool climate Sauvignon Blanc's. The nose is clean, yet strikingly prominent.

The palate: Crisp, lime clean structured entrance, yet light and delicate.The wine shows good concentration and balance between acid, palate weight and fruit expression. A fruit expression of ripe white peach, fused with lemon peel and a sweet full creaminess on the mid palate, to balance the lemon zest.

The Amani Sauvignon Blanc 2011 expresses a flavour profile of ripe white peaches, kiwi fruit and zesty lime. The nose is clean with a full ripe expression and a crisp appeal. The palate entrance shows sweetness followed by an immediate lime crisp feel and a mineral salty aftertaste. The wine has a light, delicate palate weight, medium alcohol (12.5) with just enough acid fused with an edgy tannin linger, a tell tale character of Sauvignon Blanc.

The Amani Sauvignon Blanc 2012 express a flavour profile of ripe yellow peaches, ripe Cape gooseberries and zesty lime. The nose is clean with a full ripe expression and a crisp appeal.


On palate entrance the wine shows fullness of ripe summer fruits followed by an immediate lime crisp feel and a mineral salty aftertaste. The wine has a light, delicate palate weight, medium alcohol with just enough acid ,fused with an edgy “tannin” linger, a tell tale character of Sauvignon Blanc.

The Amani Chardonnay 2008 is a fusion of white flowers and white pepper enhanced by a baked sweet bread impression that flows into a savoury/salty appeal. Amani Kamili Chardonnay/Viognier 2009
The Amani Kamili 2009 is a fusion of Chardonnay and Viognier grapes grown on Amani Vineyards. The nose exhibits an exotic fruit profile of lime, dried apricots, ripe passion fruit with some caramelized sugar fused with a savoury element. The nose shows a concentration that is experienced on the palate. Palate entrance is crisp and limey which is delicately balanced with a vanilla wood component and fruit concentration of apricots and a lingering salt tang. The Chardonnay component adds a mouth covering viscosity whilst the Viognier lends a puckering sensation to the finish.

Amani Kamili Chardonnay/Viognier 2010
The Amani Kamili 2010 is a fusion of Chardonnay and Viognier grapes grown on Amani Vineyards. The Kamili 2010 shows lovely peach skin flavours that are fused with lime, coriander and leesy fullness. Palate entrance shows a milky fullness that is refreshed by lime fruit. This wine has good concentration of fruit which is balanced by the fresh mid-palate acidity, good oak usage and a sweet mid-palate. The wine lingers with a peach skin express on the after palate.

Amani Pinotage 2011
The Amani Pinotage 2011 shows a deep crimson red colour. The nose is very complex opening-up to ripe berries, spicy pepper, lime and a salty - mineral aspect which then unfolds into violets. Palate entrance is fresh flowing into a peppery impression with ripe tannins, berries and spearmint on the finish. The wine shows good balance of fruit, oak usage, acid and alcohol. The sweet mid-palate and concentration of fruit lends length to the after taste.

Amani Poppy Blush Rose 2009
The Amani Poppy Blush Rose expresses a flavour profile of sweet, ripe red raspberries, with toffee and a lime freshness. The nose is gentle and inviting with sweet raspberries, toffee, hints of lime and white pepper. The palate is sweet and spiced up with soft citrus characters, tribute to good acid balance that adds to a crisp refreshing aftertaste. The I am One 2008 shows complex flavor of smokey meats, black pepper, roasted pine kernels and black licorice. The nose is full and welcoming. The palate entrance is fresh with an elegant ripe tannin structure, the wine leaves the palate with a balance of limey freshness fused with smokey pepper notes and a sweet licorice aniseed alcohol influence. The after palate has a sweet fullness, yet leaves the palate refreshed.

The Amani I am 1 2009, has a beautiful deep ripe cherry colouring. The wine shows a clear fruit driven nose. Showing loads of black fruit, graphite and an inviting toast impression fused with fresh lime and sweet liquorice expression. A good fusion of mineral saltiness and the sweet appeal of a warm climate. A smooth palate entrance, showing a delicate tannin structure. The mid palate has sweet ripe black fruit, balanced with a fresh acidity and a prominent but not dominating oak influence. The wine has a delicate palate weight with good fruit to support the overall blend.

Amani Forest Myers Shiraz 2007
The Forest Myers Shiraz 2007 has a deep dark hue. The first impression is that of canned apricots infused with vanilla pod that flows to spicy black pepper with a salty mineral and liquorices undertone. A clean, fresh entrance on the palate, that speaks of apricots and blackberry fruit that flows into a spicy pepperyness. The wine shows a ripe tannin structure and the alcohol is set off by the limey acid in the mid and back palate. The wine shows medium concentration and ends with sweet berry fruit layers.

The Amani Pendana Shiraz 2008; shows very obvious salt and pepper seasoning, ripe raspberries with a sweet vanilla edge introduction. Then goes over into white chocolate flavors. The wine has an elegant tannin structure which enters the palate soft and delicate with a delightful mid-palate and just a touch of smoked oak flavors, to complement the back palate.

Amani Pendana Shiraz 2009
The Amani Pendana Shiraz 2009; shows a vanilla sweetness on first impression fused with ripe blue berries, graphite and pepper undertones. The Jordan Myers Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon has a clear menthol element on the nose mixed with mocha, white pepper, toffee and licoric. The entrance on the palate is elegant yet concentrated with a fine tannin structure. The menthol aromas and white pepper follow through onto the palate and linger with a mixture of licorice and coffee. The wine's acid, alcohol and fruit is well balanced with the oak use. There is a lingering lime finish on the mid and back palate.

The Amani Kamili is a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier which exhibits both varietals characters beautifully. The inviting nose shows lime, fused with apricots, ginger and rose petals. The nose starts with a lime fresh entrance which flows into ginger, apricots and ends with a prominent white pepper aftertaste. The Chardonnay portion is displayed by the weight and mouth covering aspect of the blend. The Kamili shows very good balances of fruit, acid and puckering texture, from the Viognier, lends a lingering aftertaste.

There is a good balance between ripe cherry fruit on the palate together with alcohol and a fresh acid. The Amani Cab Franc/Merlot has a good concentration on both the mid and after palate with well managed oak influence.

On the palate you will find a full spectrum of ripe tropical fruits on the palate with well structured grapefruit acid for balance. Long smooth finish with clearly discernable peach notes.

The wine has a straw colour with a golden tinge on the brim. On the nose one finds a complex variety of primary fruit, aromas such as mandarin and peach. Secondary characteristics of toastiness, almonds and spiciness come through on the palate, and are the result of ripe fruit and combined with the subtleties of barrel fermentation and extended lees contact.

Colour- Brilliant, clean, pale golden Honey.
Nose - Orange blossoms and peach pip combine with lively lemon zest. Underlying but obvious smokey spicey oak.

Amani Sauvignon Blanc 2002
The wine has got a clean, brilliant straw colour. The nose reminds of gooseberries, grapefruit, nettle, green peppers and herbaceous flavours. On the palate one experiences a full spectrum of ripe tropical fruit with a well structured grapefruit acid for balance. The finish is long and smooth with discernable peach tones.
Food recommendations: Al Fresco lunches - Norwegian Salmon, pastas, grilled sole, rocket and greens.

A blend of 60% Chenin Blanc, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, 19% C. Riesling and 6% Weiser Riesling.
Colour - Clean, Pale straw.

Palate - Melon-like aromatics, fresh lively mouth feel complemented by spicey, floral tones from unerlying ripe weisser riesling.

Amani Cabernet Franc / Merlot 2006
This CabFranc/Merlot 2006 shows a lot of spiced orange dark chocolate blended with smoky fried capsicum, licorice and black currant flavors. The palate is full and ripe with elegant tannin structure. The mid palate shows a vanilla sweetness combined with spicy pepper tones and fried capsicum. The wine ends with a citrus lime linger.

Amani Forest Myers Shiraz 2005
The Shiraz 2005 shows lots of pepper spiciness, with tobacco, leather and full ripe blackberry flavours. The palate is smooth and fleshy with ripe tannins. The wine has great concentration and is well balanced. The back palate shows a fusion of tobacco and black current flavours.

The Amani Merlot 05 boasts flavours of sweet vanilla, ripe plums, black cherries and a tone of orange peel. On the the palate the wine shows a silky smooth tannin structure with vanilla, ripe plum and dark chocolate tones. Good balance and concentration of fruit on the palate ends with a lime lingering aftertaste.
