Tasting Notes
The Amani Poppy Blush Rose expresses a flavour profile of sweet, ripe red raspberries, with toffee and a lime freshness. The nose is gentle and inviting with sweet raspberries, toffee, hints of lime and white pepper. The palate is sweet and spiced up with soft citrus characters, tribute to good acid balance that adds to a crisp refreshing aftertaste. Leaving the palate on a sweet savoury note and a crisp lime finish, making this Rose an interesting refreshing choice.
In The Cellar
Only free-run juice was used in the production of the Poppy Blush. The sweet juice was inoculate with a pure yeast culture and fermented at between 13° - 15° C. The cold fermentation ensures that the pure fruit quality of the varietals are preserved and expressed in the bottle.
